What personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are
Fabrio is a website studio operated by Elliot Westlake as a sole trader, based in the South of England. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean Fabrio. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
If you have any question about this policy or your data, email us at hey@fabrio.agency.
The data we collect
We keep the data we collect to the minimum we need:
- Enquiry details. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the message you send and, if you choose to give them, your business name and how you would like to pay.
- Google lead forms. Some of our Google ads include a short form. If you fill one in, Google passes us the details you enter, such as your name and email address, so we can reply.
- Technical data. Like any website, our host receives standard request information such as your IP address and browser type. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Usage data. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tools that record aggregated page views. They do not use cookies, do not identify you and do not track you across other sites. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
- Advertising measurement. We use Google Ads to see whether our ads lead to enquiries. With your consent, Google sets cookies that link a visit from one of our ads to an enquiry sent afterwards. Without it, Google receives only basic signals without cookies, such as that an enquiry was sent.
We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your project. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who get in touch. This includes enquiries sent through a Google lead form.
- To run and secure the website. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing a reliable, secure site.
- To understand how the site is used. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in seeing which pages are useful, measured in aggregate and without identifying anyone.
- To measure our advertising. Google Ads cookies are set only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the Cookie settings button in the footer. The basic signals sent without cookies rely on our legitimate interest in knowing, in aggregate, whether our ads work.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the studio, acting on our instructions as processors:
- Vercel hosts the website, measures its loading speed and provides further cookieless analytics of page views.
- Seline provides our cookieless analytics. It receives standard request information to count page views and discards anything that could identify you.
- Packed Day, the customer management software we build and run, keeps enquiries from our contact form so we can reply to them. If it can't take one at that moment, it holds it encrypted until it can.
- Google provides our advertising. It runs the Google Ads tag described above, and collects the details you enter in a Google lead form before passing them to us. Google also uses data from its services under its own privacy policy.
- Resend delivers the email generated by our contact form to our inbox if Packed Day can't be reached.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it. Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by an appropriate safeguard such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, in Packed Day or our inbox, for as long as we are in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us, and then delete them. Google Ads cookies last up to 90 days. Technical and aggregated usage data is short-lived and is not tied to you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your data, or to restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of your data, or withdraw consent you have given;
- ask us to transfer your data to you or another provider.
To exercise any of these, email hey@fabrio.agency and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page.
